The widespread use of technology— such as interactive displays, videoconferencing & UCC systems, audio devices, and lighting—in meeting rooms, control rooms, academies, and auditoriums inevitably influences the choice of furniture, materials, and finishes which must enhance and improve well-being in internal spaces and the quality of work.
When designing digital workspaces, the relationship between technology and furniture is bidirectional.
On the one hand, the choice of furniture should focus on elements that can adapt to technological solutions, enhancing them and, in part, elegantly concealing them.
On the other hand, it is essential to choose furniture and setups that use and integrate cutting-edge technologies to improve their functionality: sound-absorbing coverings, lighting solutions that enhance indoor air quality, professional videoconferencing systems, desks, and seating made from materials that have minimal impact on the world around us, addressing the need for environmental sustainability.
